the
assumption
that the
British
Chamber of
Commerce is a company incorporated in Hong Kong and fits into the definition of a "British undertaking" under one or such as having British more of the agreed criteria,
our
adviser legal
sees no
management,
problem with the inclusion of the British Chamber of Commerce in the list. But he has counselled that the criterion under which the British Chamber of Commerce has been included should be set out in the submission to the Governor.
As indicated in para 2 of my telno 3667 to FCO, I will be submitting the lists to the Governor after I have received from you information on the criteria against which the various undertakings have been determined as "British undertakings".
