The Administration accepts that clinical teachers are important assets of the Hong Kong community. It is necessary to ensure that a sufficient number of them are captured under the scheme. However, since this group of applicants already has a high success rate (51% against the average 26% for the OG), the use of the second set of Special Circumstances points to further enhance their chances of success is not recommended.
Third Set Individual Merit Points

As for the third set of Special Circumstances points i.e. individual merit points, the criteria and methods of allocation have been clearly defined and published in "A General Guide to the British Nationality Selection Scheme" and the Reference Manuals.

After adding individual merit points scored by individual applicants, the total number of provisional points scored
by all applicants range from -51 to 630. The quota mark is 514. The profiles of applicants captured above the quota line is generally unchanged in terms
of age, qualifications and experience.
