Vision 2047 is assisting the Hong Kong International Council of Young Leaders, a group of young Chinese business people active in community outreach projects, to adapt the Hong Kong & the Future slide presentation for University-age Hong Kong Chinese audiences.
Conference on Hong Kong
A major international conference on Hong Kong, to be coordinated jointly with the Asia Society Hong Kong Center is under
consideration, and tentatively planned for the spring of 1992. Such a conference might include modules in both Hong Kong and Beijing.
Presentation Materials
Slide presentation: As an aide in communicating its message, Vision 2047 has adapted for its own use a modular slide presentation entitled, "Hong Kong and the Future," originally prepared by the Harvard Business School Association of Hong Kong. This presentation describes Hong Kong's close relationship with China, its role in the region, its economic performance and its future as a Special Administrative Region of China after 1997.
Video: Vision 2047 is coordinating the production of a video about Hong Kong sponsored by Hong Kong Telecom and scheduled for completion in September 1991. The 5-8 minute video will highlight several themes, including Hong Kong's role in the rapid economic development of the south China region, Hong Kong's past history of resilience in the face of crisis, and plans for Hong Kong's future, including major infrastructure projects.
