HONG KONG : PROSPECTIVE SECTION 6(1) APPLICATIONS (CROWN SERVICE)
I enclose a copy of a letter which the HKID sent to my predecessor, together with some of the correspondence which preceded it.
As I explained when we spoke the other day, I have discussed the matter with Paul Ronchetti, NTD, who thought my reply (the gist of which I gave him) was in order and undertook to arrange for the DSP entry to be brought up to date. My colleague, (at Croydon) Keith Game, had thought we had asked for the DSP to be amended some years ago, but I have been unable, as yet, to unearth any papers on the subject and Paul was not aware of any correspondence.
As requested, I enclose the text of the letter I propose to send to Hong Kong, and would be glad to know whether you are content with it.
