Regretably, next week will probably be the last week in which I will deal with matters relating to nationality. As I am being redeployed to fill a new post in Donald Tsang's outfit, Lessie Wei will take over from me as Deputy Director of Administration (Special Duties) next week. Lessie was with the Hong Kong team when HKG started discussing the nationality scheme with HMG in the autumn of 1989. She remembers you very well and your visit next week will be a good opportunity for your to catch up with her.
