The precise timing may be altered following changes in flight times or advice from posts, but you may assume that the Committee will be in the countries concerned on the dates given.
In each country, the Committee would like to meet UK staff dealing with trade; Ministers or officials responsible for trade; representatives of UK firms engaged in trade locally; relevant chambers of commerce or trade associations; and local businessmen. This should not preclude posts from suggesting other appointments.
The format for such meetings should be informal, with Committee staff taking a note of the points made but without publication or attribution to individuals of specific remarks. Members prefer that meetings be conducted in a question and answer style, with only a short introductory statement from the person they are meeting.
