MR. DAVID TANG
Mr. David Tang was born in 1954, the eldest grandson of the late Sir Tang Shiu-Kin. He was educated at La Salle, Hong Kong, The Perse, Cambridge, has a BA Hons. in Philosophy from London University and attended Law College at Peking University. Mr. Tang is married with two children
Mr. Tang holds a number of directorships in Hong Kong including Cluff Investments and Trading Ltd; Asia Television Ltd; Citybus Ltd; First Pacific Co. Ltd; First Pacific Bank Ltd; Lai Sun Development Ltd; Rediffusion Broadcasting (HK) Ltd and Lake Asset Management, Ltd.
He is Chairman of his own company D.W.C. Tang & Co. Ltd.
Prior to forming his own company Mr. Tang worked for Macfarlane, Solicitors in Hong Kong and Denton Hall & Burgin, Solicitors in London. He joined Cluff Oil plc, in London and jointly formed Cluff Investments and Trading in Hong Kong.
Mr. Tang supports many Hong Kong charity organisations; he is Chairman of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund; Sponsorship Committee member of the Sports Council; Chairman of Fund Raising committe, Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps; Treasurer of the Honour Hong Kong Campaign; Committee Member of Sotheby's Sales for the Community Chest; Member of Committee for the Prince of Wales Youth Business Trust, Hong Kong (prospective) and is a founding Trustee of the Anglo-Hong Kong Trust.
