FINANCE
a) Costs will be borne by parent departments. The OMCS will meet the costs of common services (ie extra telephone costs, any transport hiring, gifts, entertainment) plus the costs of the Conference Office and the Royal Military Police. FCO costs will be charged to Vote A1 (1) (U) (2).

Those wishing to do personal shopping are advised to take travellers' cheques with them.
c) PEKING: Officials should note that Chinese currency may not be brought into China. Travellers cheques may be changed for local currency at any of the hotels. Chinese currency is not convertible, but the Embassy will make arrangements for any surplus to be credited at the end of the visit through their official account.
