Dear Mrs Takapautolo,
Thank you very much for your letter of 16 October, giving details of the travel itinerary, and transit of Hong Kong from 6-9 November, of Their Majesties The King and Queen of Tonga.
I have passed the flight details and list of accompanying party members to Government House in Hong Kong and can confirm that the normal courtesies will be extended to Their Majesties.
The Governor of Hong Kong has, in addition, asked me to inform you that he would be pleased to offer a luncheon to Their Majesties, and two members of their party, on Friday 8 November at Government House. I should be most grateful if you would pass this invitation to Their Majesties for consideration, and let me know, at your earliest convenience, if the invitation is acceptable, and if so, the names of the two other members of the party to be included.
