Dear Mr. Haig,
On the lustructions of my Government I am writing to inform you that the Vice President of Guatemala, Mr. Gustavo Adolfo Espina, will be visiting Hong Kong from 13th to 17th October, and would be grateful to have the honour of an audience of the Chief Secretary, Mr. David Ford.
The Vice President will be accompanied by the Minister for Development, Mr. Manolo Bendfeldt.
I would appreciate if you could forward this request to the relevant authorities and inform us of the outcome in due course.
