1. Our visit has been productive. We shall be returning with a draft submission containing recommendations on the way forward. As previously agreed with Mr Burns, the Steering Group (or a Working Group, depending on whether Mr Burns wishes to chair) should meet soon after our return to consider advice for submission to Ministers.
2. Grateful if you could clarify if Mr Burns wishes to chair, and then arrange a suitably convenient time for Wednesday 13 November. (Perhaps best to check first with Mr Bertram's PA, for I believe she has a provisional time pencilled in for 13/11). If Mr Burns is not free, Mr Ricketts may wish to chair a working Group. When this is all clear, please circulate a note about the meeting to all members of the Steering Group. I think this should issue no later than Friday (7 November).
