On 1 June we received from Quito the Ecuadorean Anti-narcotics Law published in the Official Register of 17 September 1990 (LEY SOBRE SUSTANCIAS ESTUPEFACIENTES Y PSICOTROPICAS) together with the Embassy English Translation (Quito 1991). This law has 129 articles and 7 temporary provisions.
I note
that Article 147 (Mutual Judicial Assistance) in the draft law attached to your letter is similar to Article 118 (Reciprocal Judicial Assistance) in the copy of the Narcotics and Narcotic Substance Law sent by Quito.
