ARTICLE 17
Rule of Specialty
(1)

A fugitive offender who has been surrendered be proceeded against, sentenced or detained with a view to the carrying out of a sentence for any offence committed prior to surrender other than:
(a)
the offence in respect of which surrender

(b)

lesser
disclosed

offence is an offence for which the person
surrendered

of any document referred to in Article 8 and any statement made by the surrendered person on the matter.
