under the 1898 Treaty of persons found in the Kingdom of the
Netherlands shall be addressed to the competent authorities of
the Kingdom of the Netherlands and presented to the
Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong.
If the foregoing is acceptable to the Government of the
United Kingdom, the Ministry has the honour to suggest, on
behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands,
that the present note and the Embassy's reply to that effect
shall constitute an agreement between our two Governments.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs avails itself of this
opportunity to renew to Her Britannic Majesty's Embassy the
assurances of its highest consideration.

Her Britannic Majesty's Embassy confirm that the proposals
contained in the above mentioned note are acceptable to the
government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
/Ireland
