The Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has the honour to extend an invitation to observers to attend the Twenty-first FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific, which will be held in the Convention Hall, Ashok Hotel, New Delhi, from 10 to 14 February 1992, at the kind invitation of the Government of the Republic of India. The Inaugural Ceremony will take place at 10.00 hours on Monday 10 February.
This Regional Conference is being convened under the provisions of Article VI-5 of the FAO Constitution, and is subject to the approval of the Twenty-sixth Session of the FAO Conference in November 1991. It is open to all Member Nations in the FAO Asia and Southwest Pacific Regions, to representatives of the United Nations Bodies and Specialized Agencies, and also to observers. Expenses incurred in connection with attendance at Regional Conferences and travel of representatives and observers shall be borne by the governments or organizations concerned.
