This is the third petition presented by or on behalf of the prisoner; this petition has been presented by the prisoner's parents and siblings. A comprehensive report was sent to you in reply to the first petition under reference (3) in L/M (399) in CRB 191/1 dated 4.10.88.

This petition is essentially a repetition of the previous presentations in which the petitioners claim that the prisoner has turned to Buddhism and request that he be released from prison.

I have nothing to add to my previous comments. There are no factors that mitigate in favour of a reduction in sentence. petition is without merit and is not supported.
