We write further to your letter of 25th October and conversation with Miss Emma Williams of 25th November when she that she had spoken to the appropriate department of the Hong Kong Government concerning our client's compensation for resumed land and it is anticipated that the Hong Kong Lands Department will receive a substantive reply to our client's claim by the end of the month and we should therefore hope to receive a copy of the same soon thereafter.

As you are aware, our client has been pursuing this claim for considerable length of time and anything you can do at this end to hurry along the Hong Kong Lands Department would be appreciated.
We will revert to you during the week commencing 9th December.
