The above prisoner is presently serving his sentence in Shek Pik Prison.

He was convicted of Murder on 6.10.1978 and was sentenced to death. He lodged an application for leave to appeal against the conviction on 11.10.1978 and also applied for legal aid on 18.10.1978. His appeal was heard with legal aid on 28.9.1979 and a retrial was ordered. On 3.4.1980, he was convicted and was sentenced to be detained until Her Majesty's Please be known. Again, he lodged an application for leave to appeal against the conviction and also applied for legal aid on 9.4.1980. His appeal was heard with legal aid but was dismissed on 4.7.1980. He then applied for legal aid to appeal to the Privy Council on 7.7.1980 but his application was turned down on 12.8.1980. On 7.1.1984, he again applied for legal aid to appeal to the Privy Council but his application was refused on 30.4.1984.
After his conviction, he was admitted to Stanley Prison to serve his sentence. On 19.6.1984, he was transferred to Shek Pik Prison.
