As revealed by Mr. LEE Kai-chuen, who had visited Prisoner's family in China this October, Prisoner's mother was in good health condition in her advanced age though she was somewhat depressive and longing for Prisoner's return. Financially, she was leading a stable and sufficient life and she had all along been properly looked after by her son who lived under the same roof in China after her husband passed away in 1986. Having been separated from Prisoner for twelve years, she was dis- heartened and thus begged for an early release on behalf of Prisoner. On the other hand, Mr. LEE said that he was preoccupied in making both ends meet and thus
