Survey Arrangements

As recommended by the Steering Group, agreements have
been signed between the Director of Marine and the following
seven classification societies to carry out various surveys for
the purposes of registering ships in Hong Kong
(a) American Bureau of Shipping;
(b)
Bureau Veritas;
(c) Chinese Classification Society;
(a)
Det Norske Veritas;
(e) Germanischer Lloyd;
(f)
Lloyds Register of Shipping; and
(g)
Nippon Kaiji Kyokai.

undertake specified surveys on behalf of the Hong Kong
