Recommendations to COP
10. The IBB therefore recommends that COP members should in
future be allowed to pursue normal inward investment promotional activities in Hong Kong provided that they:
a) avoid giving the impression of seeking to exploit concerns about the transfer of sovereignty in 1997.
b) consult IBB in advance about any promotional initiatives, including plans for seminars, press advertising marketing campaigns and high-level
visits.
