concerning their publication are also required to be communicated to the International Labour offica
6. The Convention however allows members to limit the scope of statistics they are required to collect, compile and publish under the Convention by means of a declaration communicated to the Director-General. Hong Kong at present does not compile statistics about average earnings, wage distributions, labour cost and the agricultural sector. The British side therefore proposes to apply the Convention to Hong Kong with mod1⁄4fABARİ to Articles 1(c), (d) and (e), 9(1), 10, 11 and 17 (4) of the Convention so that Hong Kong would not be required to collea sa tu such statistics.

These conventions (texts at Annexes C+D) ace currently applied to Hong Kong with modifications. As a result of ONA in the Employment Ordinance, Hong Kong is now in a position tu make improved declarations on both conventions. For ILL NO.
