ILO: HONG KONG PARTICIPATION AT ELEVENTH ASIAN REGIONAL CONFERENCE
1. I attach correspondence relating to the proposed participation of Hong Kong at the 11th Asian Regional conference of ILO, to be held in Bangkok from 26 November to 3 December.
2. I should be grateful if you would ask ILO to extend a separate invitation to Hong Kong to the Conference and to inform China of this invitation. You should follow the precedent of Hong Kong's attendance at the 1985 Jakarta Conference (second paragrpah of Miu's letter of 3 September).
3. Would you please confirm by telegram that an invitation will be issued.
