1. We spoke. You kindly agreed to take a look at Hong Kong telnos 1070-1072 (attached), containing two further papers for consultation with the Chinese on:
(a) Agreement for the Establishment of the Indo-Pacific Fisheries Council; and
2.
(b) Plant Protection Agreement and the Rome Amendment.
I should be most grateful if you could consider whether
we need to consult MAFF or DoE, and let me have any comments you may have on the papers.
