solve various problems in the lives of the people, our city

has

endeavoured to promote community services in districts,

streets and

formulated

neighbourhood committees since 1986.

We have

Services in the City of Beijing." The former three-year

plan has basically been completed.

A range of

multi-functional service facilities has been initially

established. Systematic services managed in a socialised

form is established on the basis of streets and supported

by neighbourhood communities. All 105 streets in the city

have joined in the social welfare network, i.e. having one

factory, one hone, one
