(b) labour
insurance by the work unit -(112)
for employees of industrial enterprises; and
(c) unitary
insurance undertaken by individual
corporation(企業單位)。

Up to 1989, there were some 207,000 health
institutions made up of:
60,000 hospitals
132,000 outpatient clinics
3,591 health and epidemic preventive stations
2,796 maternal, child health centres
Professional health workers 4.781 million,
including 3,809 million in technical personnel
of which doctors account for 1.718 million.
There are also some 164,000 private
practitioners.
