I would be happy to attempt summaries of sections you felt were particularly important. It is not meant to be a polished work and you may find the occasional odd translations of technical terms which are familiar to you in some other guise.
2. The principal editor, Xiao Weiyun, is Deputy Dean of the Law Department of Peking University, and was the Chinese co-convener of the Basic Law Drafting Committee Sub-Group on the political structure and a full member of the BLDC. He is also on the BLDC for Macao.
3.
The book was the result of a special research project carried out under China's seventh Five Year Plan (1986-1990).
