1. On 19 December 1990 (letter attached) I wrote to Shaun Riordan about the possibility of getting hold of an additional copy for Paul Fifoot of the hardback Basic Law with the text in both Chinese and English.
I know that Paul would still like to have a copy. He continues to take an interest in the Basic Law and has

recently been writing some articles on it. A copy of the published text would also be a nice momento for the years of work he put in on the Basic Law.
I should be grateful if you could let me know if either Shaun or yourself have had any success with this.
