I attach a translation of Chapter X of the Chinese Research Project on one country two systems'. It adds very little to our knowledge. It is mainly of interest for its description of the current set up in Hong Kong, which was taken mainly from the Hong Kong Year Book 1989. This will no doubt be of interest to Chinese cadres but there is little in it for us.
