Dear Sir,

C

на

I welcome the adoption of a motion calling for the death penalty to be abolished and wish to thank all members of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong who argued against and voted for the abolishment of the "death

"death penalty". You see, I also agree that "all peoples are deserving of human rights".

I also wish to add my voice to those calling on the government of Hong Kong to ensure that a bill providing for abolition of the death penalty be submitted to the Legislative Council for adoption as soon as possible.

Again, thank you for moving forward in the quest of human rights for all.

Sincerely yours,

L. Rae Hanson
