Your Honour:
Amnesty International, the world-wide Human Rights and Peace-keeping organization, which you may know, has asked me to appeal to you to help ceasing the execution of people.
We are concerned at the proposal to resume executions in Hong Kong and are opposed to the death penalty on the ground that it consitutes the ultimate form of cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment and that it violates the right to life.
The effectiveness of the death penalty is being increasingly questioned, and the resumption of executions would be contrary to both world and regional trends toward its abolition.
as you
As a member of Amnesty INternational, and of the Human Race are- I respectfully urge you to do ehat you can in your power to treat prisoners as you would wish MEMBERS OF YOUR OWN FAMILY AND FRIENDS to be treated under similar circumstances: Humanely and mercifully, grant them fair trials and speedy release and return to their loved ones for those innocent.
Respectfully,
-?
