We would be most grateful if you could forward the enclosed letter to Prime Minister John Major. We were unable to obtain a fax number for 10 Downing Street and would greatly appreciate if you could pass on our letter by the fastest mean possible.
We earnestly hope that the British Government can use whatever influence it has on the Hong Kong authorities to prevent the resumption of executions.
