Dear Douglas,
You were kind enough to write to me on 20th June 1990, about Mr. Christopher Harris, the son of my constituents, Mr. and Mrs R.J. Harris, of 52, London Road, Guildford.
Mr. Harris' S latest letter, which I have just received and which I enclose, worries me a lot. You said in your letter of 20th June that you and Francis Maude would be keeping a careful watch on developments in relation to the general situation in the Hong Kong Legal Department. In the light of what Mr. Harris says, is there anything more that you can tell me at the present stage.
I would be very grateful.
Yours ever,
Jaus Да
