report on the activities of the Corporation are required to be

submitted to the Legislative Council.

Clause 33 provides that the Director of Audit may examine into

and report on utilization of the Corporation's resources.

18. Clause 34 requires the Corporation to provide information to

the Secretary for Recreation and Culture upon request.

Clause 36 requires the Corporation to comply with codes of

practice issued by the Broadcasting Authority.

20. Under clause 37, the Broadcasting Authority may require the

Corporation to supply materials to it or the Telecommunications

Confidentiality of such materials is safeguarded under

Authority.

Clause 39 requires the Corporation to comply with the

directions given to it by the Governor in Council. The Corporation

may make representations and objections in respect of such

directions under clause 40.

22. Clause 41 requires the Corporation to make certain broadcast as

directed by the Broadcasting Authority. Clause 42 empowers the

Governor in Council to prohibit certain broadcast by the Corporation.

23. Clause 43 empowers the Broadcasting Authority to issue a letter

of admoniton to the Corporation in case the Corporation contravened

codes of practice issued by the Authority.

24. Clause 44 and Schedule 2 provide for the vesting in the

Corporation of rights and liabilities connected with the carrying

out of the functions of the Government department known as Radio

Television Hong Kong.

25. Clause 45 authorizes the Corporation to make appeals to the

Governor in Council in respect of several

matters.
