Without prejudice to paragraphs 1 and 2 any vesting to which
this Schedule applies shall be binding on all other persons
notwithstanding that it would, apart from this paragraph, have
required the consent or concurrence of any other person.
Explanatory Memorandum
The object of this Bill is to establish a statutory corporation
to be known as the Radio Television Hong Kong Corporation ("the
Corporation"), and to define its objects and powers.
2. Clauses 2 and 3 define terms used in the Bill.

Clause 4 requires the Secretary for Recreation and Culture to
consult the Secretary for the Treasury on several matters connected
with the Bill.
4. Clause 5 establishes the Corporation as a statutory
corporation.
Clauses 6, 7 and 8 specifies its objects, duties and
powers respectively.

Clauses 9 and 10 make provisions with respect to the fixing of
the seal of the Corporation.
6. Clause 11 prohibits the unauthorized use of the title of the
Corporation.

Clauses 12 provides that the Corporation has no connection with
the Crown.

Clause 13 exempts the Corporation from taxation under the
Inland Revenue Ordinance. Clause 14 exempts the Corporation from
the statutory requirement to hold a licence or permit.

Clauses 15 and 16 provide for the Corporation's power to
establish subsidiaries and the control of the same.
