send a copy of the findings and recommendations to

the Corporation.

(1) The Corporation may make such rules as it considers

necessary or expedient for the better carrying out of its objects or

the performance of its duties.

(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1) the

Corporation may make rules for the purpose of -

(a)

regulating the remuneration, terms, conditions,

standards of work and conduct of its employees and of

persons engaged by the Corporation under contracts

for services including matters relating to their

suspension and dismissal; and

regulating and controlling its finances and the

supply and purchase of its stores.

(3) Rules made under this section shall not be treated as

subsidiary legislation for the purpose of section 34 of the

Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 1).

Interpretation

Section 2 of the Defamation Ordinance (Cap. 21) is amended in

the definition of "broadcasting station" by adding "the Radio

Television Hong Kong Corporation or any wholly owned subsidiary

company of the Radio Television Hong Kong Corporation within the

meaning of the Radio Television Hong Kong Corporation Ordinance

( of 1991) or any station" after "Government or".
