(b) no such material (or information) or any copyreof
shall be supplied or shown to any person other than
in confidence to members of the Broadcasting
Authority or any committee appointed thereby, or to a
public officer acting in the performance of his
duties under or for the purposes of the Television
Ordinance (Cap. 52) or the Broadcasting Authority
Ordinance (Cap. 391).
(2) The Corporation may permit, subject to such conditions as it may specify, the Broadcasting Authority, the Telecommunications
Authority or any person authorized thereby to supply or show any
specified material (or information) or any copy thereof which it has
supplied thereto, to any person or to any specified person.
39.
Directions by the Governor
in Council
(1) Subject to section 40 the Governor in Council may give to
the Corporation specific directions for the purpose of remedying any
failure of the Corporation to perform any duty imposed upon the
Corporation by this or any other Ordinance, and the Governor in
Council may further direct any public officer to remedy such failure
and any expense incurred thereby shall be payable by the Corporatio
(2) Where a direction has been given to a public officer
pursuant to subsection (1) a copy of that direction shall also be
served on the Corporation.
(3) Where the Corporation does anything in order to comply
with a direction given under subsection (1) the Corporation may at
its own discretion broadcast or otherwise publish the fact that such
thing is done at the direction of the Governor in Council.
