"Board" () means the Board of Governors established by
section 17;
"broadcast" (**) means to transmit sound or visual
images by means of radio waves or by cable, for reception by
the public;
"Broadcasting Authority" (*) means the Broadcasting
Authority established by section 3 of the Broadcasting
Authority Ordinance (Cap. 391);
"Code of Practice" (# ) means

(a) in relation to sound broadcasting, a Code of Practice
issued by the Broadcasting Authority under section 19
(b)
of the Broadcasting Authority Ordinance (Cap. 391);
in relation to television broadcasting, a Code of
Practice issued by the Broadcasting Authority under
section 20 or 28 of the Television Ordinance (Cap.
52);
"Corporation" () means the corporation known as the Radio
Television Hong Kong Corporation established by section 5;
"Executive Director" () means the executive director
appointed under section 19;
"programme" () includes any signal, announcement, item,
communication, picture or other matter broadcast or intended to
be broadcast;
"public officer" (A) means a person employed by the
Government in the civil service of the Crown;
"Secretary" means the Secretary for Recreation and Culture;
"Telecommunications Authority" ( 電 信 管 理 局 局長 ) means the
Telecommunications Authority appointed under section 5 of the
Telecommunication Ordinance (Cap. 106);
