I attach a copy of a self-explanatory letter from Simon Twiston Davies of the Sunday Morning Post Magazine, asking about the possibility of writing a profile story on Lord Caithness

I discussed this possibility with Mr Twiston Davies while we were in Hong Kong and I believe that his intention is to produce a sympathetic feature article concentrating on the man and his thoughts on Hong Kong, rather than specific policy issues. I think such a feature would help to demonstrate Lord Caithness' interest in and commitment to Hong Kong and I recommend that the Minister accepts the bid in principle at this stage we can work out the details nearer the time.
