Dear Mr Crystal
Following our conversation of earlier today, the following is a rough outline of the interview pattern and photographs needed for a profile of Lord Caithness for the South China Morning Post's Sunday Post Magazine.
The first interview would be of approximately one hour and cover his Lordship's career, his family background and his thoughts in general on Hong Kong and politics. In addition, if a lunch could be arranged, it might help obtain a broader view of his Lordship's personality. A second formal interview of half-an- hour with follow-up questions would also be required.
Photographically we need as broad a selection as possible, taking in an office shot, a shot in the Lords and a couple of pictures in a domestic setting. Since I understand that Lord Caithness is married, a portrait with his wife would also be of help.
I foresee the interviews and photo sessions taking place over two or three days, during the final week of this month.
I await your confirmation of dates before booking my flights.
