Notwithstanding
should Governor-in-Council give an approval under Condition 4.5 for the transmission of programmes in the Cantonese language prior to 31 October 1993, whether such programmes have been previously shown on television in Hong Kong or otherwise, the Licensee and the Authority shall meet to discuss with a view to agreeing additional service origination charges relating to that approval.
Should the service be discontinued for any reason at any time before the date on which it shall expire by the passage of time the total service origination charge payable with respect to the year in which the service is discontinued shall become payable immediately.

locations, frequencies, emissions, power, polarisation, aerial characteristics and other technical parameters of each uplink and downlink station shall at all times conform to the technical characteristics and limits specified in Schedule 3

Where the licensee wishes to vary the technical characteristics described in Condition 8.1 the prior written consent of the Authority shall be required.
Where the Licensee has a requirement to transmit signals
or receive signals from other satellites, shall notify the Authority of the technical characteristics of the stations in question and, where the Authority considers that the relevant requirements of Conditions 9.1 and 13 have been met, it shall
approve appropriate alterations to the technical standards contained in Schedule shall be deemed to be amended accordingly.
