Established in 1947 with a current daily circulation of
more than 60,000 the HKS is one of only two English language
newspapers distributed throughout the territory. The main readership profile includes professionals, businessmen,
academics and under-graduates. In recent weeks HKS has been
taking a fairly helpful line from our point of view and an
interview will encourage them to continue in this vein.
Ms Tse is a senior reporter on the HKS political staff who
was based in Britain as a correspondent for Sing Pao in
1987/88.
