LINE TO TAKE
We should welcome the latest news of their proposed project
with WSTV, and in particular, of Hutchison's recent
negotiations with the Hong Kong authorities.
We wish the project well. It represents a major breakthrough
for World Service Television.
(DEFENSIVE)
We have already provided a letter of support for the deal
between BBC WSTV and Hutchison.
We have to maintain an even-handed approach as between the various British commercial television companies in the field.
