Thank you for your fax of 9 February. I can understand how you feel about the absence of a press conference but I do not think you are justified in claiming visiting politicians scorn the Hong Kong press. Certainly in the case of visiting Ministers a great deal of thought and effort is put into relations with the media. I also hope you will feel a little less irritated if I correct your misconception that there was no briefly for Llie Hully Rony press.
