Thank you for your letter of 10 February.

I am glad that we are now all clear about the significance of your meeting with Sir David Ford and Mr Keith Shipley. I am also grateful for your acknowledgement that, in our consideration of this difficult matter, a real step forward has been taken. Equally, I do understand the sense of frustration which some of your members must be feeling. is why we shall seek to resolve this issue as urgently as we can. But, as indicated/in my earlier letter, it would be wrong of me to leave you with the impression that a quick or easy solution is in sight.
