Thank you for your letter of 9 May 1991 to Lord Caithness about compensation arrangements and pensions for the HMOCS members in Hong Kong.
Lord Caithness fully appreciates your concerns and is aware of the deadline for transfer to the Hong Kong Government's New Pension Scheme. HMOCS compensation arrangements and pensions matters are the subject of current discussions between the relevant departments of the British and Hong Kong Governments. At present I regret that we can add nothing to our earlier statements.
