ARTICLE Il INTERPRETATION AND DEFINITIONS

Interpretation

2.1

In the event of any dispute as to the true meaning of any provision in this constitution the decision of a General Meeting of the Association shall be final. Until a General Meeting has been held the

views of the Committee shall be binding upon all Members.

2.2

This constitution shall be interpreted with reference to the provisions of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance, Cap 1 of the Laws of Hong Kong, for the time being in force and words herein shall have the meaning assigned to them by that Ordinance unless the context

requires otherwise.

Definitions

2.3

Unless the context requires otherwise :-

'Association' means the Association of Members of Her

Majesty's Overseas Civil Service in Hong Kong;

'Committee' means the Committee organized in accordance with the provisions of Article V of this constitution;
