Hong Kong for the payment of pensions earned in the service of the Crown. HMG are confident that the arrangements set out in the draft agreement provide full security for the payment of pensions of both serving and retired civil servants and their dependants. As to the future, it would be for the Government of the day to decide what action it would be right to take in any given set of circumstances. Their consideration would clearly have to have regard to the special position of HMOCS officers, which successive Governments have acknowledged.
