Minimum Statement Demanded
DRAFT
Her Majesty's Government will introduce a
General Compensation Scheme for HMOCS officers
serving in Hong Kong.
Whilst the detailed terms of the Scheme
if
remain to be worked out, they will provide for all
HMOCS officers serving in Hong Kong to retire
they wish, in or before 1997 with their full earned
pension and compensation.
It is recognized that HMOCS members will
expect to know the detailed terms well before they
have to decide whether to join the New Pension Scheme.
