Conduct and Voting

5.7

The Chairman shall preside at a General Meeting. If unable to attend he shall appoint another Committee Member to act as Chairman.

5.8

Whilst any Members present at a General Meeting and a Non-member, at the descretion of the Chairman of the Meeting, may address the meeting, only FULL Members may vote.

5.9

Voting, other than for the election of a Committee, shall be by a show of hands.

5.10

Resolutions at a General Meeting shall be passed by a majority of the votes cast by those FULL Members present and voting, except a resolution to rescind a decision of the Committee which will only be adopted provided that such resolution is passed by not less than two thirds of votes cast by those FULL Members present and voting at the General Meeting.

5.11

For the avoidance of doubt it is expressly stated that resolution passed at a General Meeting shall be valid notwithstanding that the vote cast by a Member other than a FULL Member may have been counted provided that the majority in favour exceeded the number of non-FULL Members alleged to have voted.
